Sant Joan: paralizadas cautelarmente las obras de urbanización de Cala Xarraca |
(Diario de Ibiza, 27/02/2018) El Ayuntamiento ordena parar aquellos trabajos que se realizan sin licencia Joan Lluís Ferrer. El Ayuntamiento de Sant Joan ha confirmado en un comunicado que ha ordenado paralizar, esta misma mañana, las obras de urbanización que se desarrollan en Cala Xarraca. La medida es provisional y sólo afecta a aquellos trabajos que "no están amparados actualmente por licencia municipal", según detalla la nota. Ello implica que la promotora habría desarrollado obras al margen de las que tenía autorizadas, si bien el comunicado no entra a detallar tal extremo.
La decisión es el resultado del informe elaborado a lo largo de la mañana por los servicios técnicos municipales, que han estado evaluando el alcance de los trabajos que se realizan y su adaptación o no a la licencia que en su día fue otorgada por el Ayuntamiento de Sant Joan. Tan pronto como se produjeron las primeras denuncias, el equipo de gobierno mostró su intención de comprobar que el proyecto respete la normativa vigente y no descartó acciones sancionadores en caso contrario.
El alcalde ha declinado dar hoy más explicaciones a los medios de comunicación. Los ecologistas del GEN habían denunciado hace pocos días lo que consideran un "atentado ecológico" contra este paraje costero de es Amunts y reclamaron que se investigara la legalidad del proyecto. Otros colectivos han pedido también la paralización de las obras, facilitadas por la permanencia de la Ley Turística aprobada por el anterior Govern del PP, que permite ampliar los hoteles actualmente existentes, según han recordado.
